Guest Lecture – Capacity Engineering (2/3)

November 13 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Capacity Engineering’s 2019 Lecture Series, presented by CSCE: Carleton Chapter, is targeted at Civil, Architectural and Environmental Engineering students to provide insight into the day to day work of a Civil Engineer. With a background in new construction, forensic engineering, and heritage conservation, Maurice Quinn and the team at CEL discuss tips and tricks for best practices in the field of Civil Engineering, both for students at university, and recent graduates in the industry. This includes ethical engineering, rules of thumb for working in a design office, and learning in the workplace. Come out on October 30th, November 13th and November 27th to meet CEL’s local engineering team, learn more about your field of study and the industry, and to ask questions about what’s to come after your time at Carleton.

Speaker: Maurice Quinn, P.Eng., MIPENZ (Structural), PMP (Carleton Engineering Alumni)
